On June 24, 2022, the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade by a vote of 5-4, a law passed in 1973 that has resulted in the murder of over 60 million Americans over the past 50 years. This is a historic decision awaited by many and considered unfeasible only a few years ago. How did it all begin and how did this mass genocide come to be?

Sarah Cleveland, Obstetrician and Gynecologist: When I tell people that there is no medical reason for an abortion, people often raise the issue of ectopic pregnancy. Even well-meaning, caring people raise this. They do not know how to respond and for this reason they can say that they are "for life" with exceptions. This is the door that pro-abortion activists want to push into people's minds in order to achieve their goal - abortions without restrictions and without excuses. If we want to eliminate the evil of abortion, we would do ourselves a favor to better understand what an ectopic pregnancy is (and is not) and how it is related to abortion.

In the ongoing debate on abortion between the election movement and pro-life groups, there are specific topics and disputes that are constantly arising.

In the last seven decades since 1953, when abortion was legal in Bulgaria, proponents of life have solidified their opposition to abortion. The view of the life movement has been disgraced by the mainstream media, but the message continues to be carried by pro-life activists.

Roman Catholic as well as Orthodox Bibles have between 8-13 more books in the Old Testament than Protestant Bibles. These books are called apocryphal or deuterocanonical. The word apocryphal (Gr. απόκρυφος) means "hidden", while the word deuterocanon (Greek: δεύτερος κανόνας) means "second canon" and refers to those who present themselves as sacred but are not actually inspired by God and have not been accepted as canonical by the Jews.

The Apocryphal, or Deuterocanonical, books were written mainly between the Old and New Testaments. The apocryphal non-canonical books were written after the end of the prophetic era under Artaxerxes and are therefore not included in the Jewish canon.

When we start another year, the prospect of goal setting may seem daunting. Many things are fighting for our time and attention. We feel attracted in many directions given our current challenges, requirements and responsibilities. The past year has shaken the determination of many. That is why it is important not only to reflect on the determination of the giants in the faith who came before us, but also on the determination of God himself.

In June last year, the European Parliament adopted Matic's report, which called for abortion to become a universal right and to reduce conscientious objection. The result of such and other similar actions is catastrophic - 42.6 million abortions have been performed worldwide in 2021, reports Worldmeter.info, which measures real-time data on global phenomena of all kinds.

Bulgaria - first in the EU in registered abortions. Every month, more than a thousand Bulgarian women deliberately remove their child with an abortion of their choice, without medical reasons, BGNES (2020) reports, citing data from the National Center for Public Health and Analysis.

The history of Bulgaria shows that in 1948, when no abortion was performed, 176,000 children in the country cried for the first time. For comparison, the number of babies born in 2019 in Bulgaria is only 61 thousand.

The shedding of innocent blood is not a trivial matter for the God of the Bible. In fact, it is listed among several things in Scripture that the Lord hates (Proverbs 6: 16-19). God is a God of justice, and justice means not killing the innocent. From the very beginning it is written that “6. Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for God made man in the image of God ”(Genesis 9: 6).

There is a list of approved sins in modern faiths that the pastor can openly criticize without fear of rebellion. Think racism. This is an easy sin to preach because almost everyone in our culture already agrees that it is a bad thing. But things like the brutal murder of unborn babies are not on this list. In the case of abortion and homosexuality, they have long sought to speak of "love" and the need to understand those whose sin has left them with a broken heart. However, they will not talk about the guilt of the sinner and the shame of such a practice, nor will they condemn the main thing that it is against God's will. Many pastors today are simply ashamed of the words that the Holy Spirit has inspired when it comes to dealing with things that the Bible calls humiliating passions. Of course, they affirm the biblical infallibility and even the authority of Scripture, but in practice they are in complete agreement with the rebellious world, which calls this kind of speech "hate speech."
