What does science say?
DNA does not lie: the zygote has a unique DNA that is separate from the mother and, by scientific definition, is a completely different organism. With the latest technology, we can easily see that the reproductive cell of a man (sperm) and a woman (egg) connect, delivering 23 chromosomes on each side, creating a unique human genotype with 46 chromosomes, and subsequently a unique phenotype. at the moment of conception, which can never be re-created in human history.
A person's stage of development is irrelevant to the discussion of whether he or she is a separate life. A human embryo is just a smaller baby, even when the baby is just a smaller human being (the word fetus comes from Latin and means "little child"). In other words, it is biologically indisputable that a unique human life exists from the moment of conception. There can be no sport in science about this.
1.
On the 18th day after conception, the baby's heart begins to pump blood different from the mother's, and his heartbeat can be detected by ultrasound. The child has his own DNA, his own blood type, his own organs and systems and can be of different sexes.
2.
In the sixth week, the baby's eyes, eyelids, nose, mouth and tongue are already formed. Brain activity can be detected in the sixth week and by the eighth, the baby has developed all its organs and body structures.
3.
Ultrasound from the 20th week shows not only photos, but video from the active life of the baby in the womb: clapping hands, sucking the index finger, yawning, belching, plugging the ears at a loud sound - even a smile.
