Abortion is a distortion of the image of God in the most literal sense. This is an act of malice towards the most defenseless and voiceless.

Karl Marx said that "the way to get rid of the heavenly family of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is to destroy the earthly family." Those of us who now live in a culture of death see this not only in theory but also in practice. The systematic killing of unborn children in the womb tells of a nation plunged into an epidemic rebellion against God's family institution. Feminists and proponents of abortion often talk about abortions with love, such as human rights, health care, or family planning.

Abortion is encouraged by those who hate family.

As we begin another year, the prospect of resolutions may seem daunting. Many things are fighting for our time and attention. We feel attracted in many directions given our current challenges, requirements and responsibilities. The past two years have shaken the determination of many. That is why it is important not only to reflect on the determination of the giants in the faith who came before us, but also on the determination of God himself. We can certainly draw encouragement from believers in the past and praise them for their zeal in the face of overwhelming opposition. But before embarking on the journey of the Christian life in the new year that God has graciously given, let us reflect diligently on God's determination.

The history of Bulgaria shows that in 1948, when no abortion was performed, 176,000 children in the country cried for the first time. For comparison, the number of babies born in 2019 in Bulgaria is over 61 thousand.
