Education, the media and the political arena may be the place where the fruit of these vile philosophies is so evident. Secular humanism and religious paganism have consistently marked the landscape of politicians, culturally influential people, and those in power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this context, the Christian church is called to wage war against the enemies of the faith, rejecting any lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10: 5). When it comes to abortion, there are physical implications for the way we fight our great battle. Life, like eternal souls, hang by a thread. However, the weapons of our war are spiritual, as we are concerned with renewing the heart and mind. The necessary change can only be made through God's Word and the gospel, which is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17).
